We have come a long way since 1904 when Albert Sanford sold his freshly caught Snapper from the wharfs at the bottom of Auckland’s Queen Street. Nowadays Sanford operates globally, exporting fresh and frozen seafood products to more than 200 countries.
Sanford Ltd has one of the most diverse fishing and aquaculture operations in New Zealand and seafood from all of our operations is available through the Sanford Cash ‘n Carry store located at the Auckland Fish Market. This means that consumers and trade customers alike can buy product sourced from our 149 ha of Pacific Oyster farms in Northland, three Mussel processing facilities, a Salmon Farm in Big Glory Bay (Stewart Island), or fish from one of our fishing vessels unloading chilled and sea-frozen catches daily.
Complimenting our own range, we source specially selected products from international suppliers, including a full range of prawns and delicious finger foods.
